Suffolk Woodchips Ltd is a company with many years experience in the woodchip industry and was formed by Mike Edwards following the success of his forestry engineering business.

We were one of the first companies in the UK to introduce large forwarder mounted crane fed chippers just a few years before the storm of 1987 in which thousands of acres of trees were blown over. This led to a massive clear up operation throughout East Anglia which put M.I Edwards at the forefront of chipping both whole trees and forestry residues from tree harvesting operations in and around Thetford Forest on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

We are one of the country’s most experienced wood chipping companies and still maintain our ethos of producing a high quality product for our customers.
